Who We Are What We Can Do Advantages of Using Dixie Aire Description of Filing Title Insurance Contact Us e-mail DIXIE AIRE at Webmaster@DixieAire.com |
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF USING DIXIE AIRE FILING SERVICES?Dixie Aire will notify you, at the time of filing, in writing (by mail, unless special services are requested) that your documents have been received and filed with the FAA. When we receive your documents, we will review them for general FAA recording requirements. Correcting a small problem before documents are submitted to the FAA can save you 4 to 12 weeks delay in having your documents recorded. (Note: 4 to 12 weeks is the average period of time it takes FAA to process documents from the date they are filed. ) Dixie Aire automatically performs the certification procedure. This procedure allows FAA to return all of your original documents (except the Application for Registration) after they have been recorded and stamped with the recording date and conveyance number. Additionally, Dixie Aire tracks your documents through the FAA recording procedure and sends reminder letters to the FAA should the processing of your documents fall behind schedule. Finally, after the updated record is received to verify the addition of your documents, Dixie Aire will provide you with a written confirmation of recording. You may also request that a new Title Report be prepared at this time which would provide you with a written record of the new status of your aircraft file. In comparison: FAA does not notify you when they receive your documents; therefore, you can only assume that your document has been received by the FAA and will be processed within 180 days. If you do not receive a registration certificate and fail to realize its absence, you could be grounded. If you have submitted a Security Agreement and it never arrives at the FAA, you could lose your lien position or the lien itself could be declared invalid in a court of law. If you have submitted a Release and it is lost, you may get a phone call years from now from a new owner who is very unhappy that a lien is still on his/her aircraft. If documents are returned "rejected" for correction, the documents are processed based on the date that they are "resubmitted." Unless a special certification procedure is followed, FAA does not return your original documents to you. I think you will agree that our fees for this quality service are very reasonable.
